These shootings are a huge shock and a tragedy. This wasn’t predestined. This wasn’t fair. We mourn with every one of these families and pray that they can make it through what is sure to be the hardest time in their lives. That’s what we should worry about now. Support, love, and blessings.
Lord, I pray that you would wrap these families with your love. Help them feel through this: every emotion. Let them know that they can live through this. I won’t ask for understanding, Lord. There is none. Let us only work together to provide rest and peace. Let us be what we need to be to bring change. To extinguish these hateful and meaningless actions. Amen.
We can argue about the politics and religion another day. In the end, they just get in the way.
